WHO IS THIS COURSE FOR?

This course is for all healthcare professionals who need to understand the importance of confidentiality and the mandatory legislation essentials of both GDPR legislation on 2016 and Caldicott Principles 1997 (post NHS review od the processes of handling patient information).

WHY DO YOU NEED THIS COURSE?

There have been many organisations which have fallen short in their legal requirement to uphold both confidential records and their data protection. GDPR replaced Data Protection Act 1998 and has issues immense fines to organisations that have breeched client data. Staff need to be aware of how to record confidentiality to uphold human rights. All social care organisations, in unison must also abide and uphold the Caldicott Principles.
