This course is for all healthcare professionals who need to improve upon their current understanding of learning disabilities, autism and mental health. Skills for Health 2019 published a core capabilities framework for all health care staff. This includes NHS front-line staff (Skills for Health 2019)

This training course will ensure you are equipped with the relevant knowledge of a range of learning disabilities, autism and mental health disorders to be able to manage and provide a high standard of understanding and support.
You will explore how differing conditions can impact individuals over their lifetime, the wider implications for their family and society, and how the media influence perceptions of each area.
